Where the race lives
Circuit Zandvoort runs along the North Sea dunes, a 4.259 km lap with three banked corners including the Tarzan hairpin and the 18-degree Hugenholtzbocht. Drivers cover 72 laps on Sunday at top speeds around 320 km/h. The banking lets cars run side-by-side through corners that would be single-file anywhere else, which keeps the race alive.

Zandvoort hosted F1 from 1952 to 1985, then returned in 2021 on the back of Verstappen's title charge.
